No.Both native and non-native speakers are welcomed by us. Non-native speakers of English must demonstrate competence in all the four main skills of the language (reading, writing, listening and speaking) in order to be accepted onto the programme. Before you can be registered onto the course, your level of competency in English will be assessed through the implementation of an online test and an oral interview carried out by phone.

No.Previous teaching experience is not required.The course will provide you with the knowledge and skills you will require in order to start your new career in teaching.

You are expected to have a good level of competency in English, i.e. to be able to use it accurately.However, as this does not necessarily mean that you have a sound knowledge of the rules of English grammar, the course provides grammar input.During the course, you will study and refresh, or renew your grammar knowledge through practical explanations, examples and exercises.You are also advised to have a good grammar reference book which you will need to refer to throughout the course.

You can organise your own study schedule.The course requires approximately 150 hours of study, and you have 6 months from the date that you get access to the course in which to complete the course. However, the more time you spend studying, the sooner you will be able to complete the programme.

While you are studying the 12 modules, you will be asked to prepare and deliver two practice lessons on skype.These lessons are not graded, but aim to provide you with the opportunity to develop your teaching skills in a non-threatening and supportive setting.During these lessons, your personal tutor will play the part of your student.Full feedback and guidance will be given at the end of these lessons.
At the end of the course, after you have completed the two online practice lessons and all the modular tasks, you will be required to plan and deliver 6 lessons online for the Teaching Practicum.These lessons are graded; full advice and recommendations are given after these lessons.

You will be allocated a personal tutor who will provide your training and support you throughout the programme.All trainers are well qualified and highly experienced in the field of English laguage teaching and teacher training.

The course implements a continual assessment system in order to provide you with maximum feedback and guidance during your studies, and to avoid the unnecessary stress created by having to sit a final exam.There are no written exams.
At the end of each of the 12 modules of study, you will be asked to complete and submit a variety of tasks which thoroughly check your understanding of the module of study, and your ability to implement the skills and strategies that you have been learning.
Your personal tutor provides you with full feedback and recommendations on each task submitted, and after completing all tasks of a module, you will receive a grade for that module of study. The grades used throughout the course, and also on the Tesol certificates are as follows :
